From Lab
to Global Impact
SYNRA Inc. was founded in Hiroshima, Japan, with the mission of transforming how machines and infrastructure are safeguarded.
The name “SYNRA” comes from the Greek word syn (“together”), symbolizing our philosophy of creating through collaboration.
From the very beginning, we have worked hand in hand with partners in the energy sector, bridge operations, manufacturing, and the automotive industry.
Together, we have been building a platform that unites three core pillars: Synergy with partners, deep VisioN from vibration signals, and Real-time Analysis enabled by high-speed cameras.
Our journey began with a simple yet profound insight: “Vibration is the vital sign of machines and infrastructure.”
By harnessing this signal, we are pioneering a new era of non-contact, remote monitoring that surpasses the limitations of traditional sensor-based systems.
From Hiroshima to the world, SYNRA is committed to building a safer, more sustainable future together with our partners.
Technology
-
Sensorless
ImagingThe high-speed optical system captures subtle vibrations remotely, eliminating the need for accelerometers or wiring.
With sub-pixel precision, it extracts motion and performs inference within 10 milliseconds, instantly detecting anomalies while covering a wide area with a single unit.
It is applicable to engines, bridge cables, manufacturing plants, and other targets where conventional sensor installation has been difficult. -
Mission
“Safeguarding People, Planet, and Industry through Synergy × Insight × Real-Time Analysis.”
Our mission is to redefine vibration as the biological signal of machines and infrastructure across critical sectors such as energy, transportation, aerospace, and manufacturing.
By harnessing high-speed cameras for non-contact, real-time monitoring, we eliminate the constraints of sensor-based systems. In doing so, we protect the health of people who rely on safe infrastructure, the health of the planet through sustainable operations, and the health of industries driving global progress. -
Vision
“Transforming Industrial Health into a Global Standard.”
By 2030, SYNRA will launch the world’s first integrated visual vibration monitoring platform, unifying position data, maintenance timing, and predictive insights. Unlike fragmented and costly sensor-based systems, our camera-driven approach enables non-contact, scalable, and rapid deployment.
Our vision rests on three pillars: safer infrastructure for people, predictive insights that strengthen industries, and sustainable practices that extend lifespans while reducing waste and CO₂. In short, SYNRA turns invisible “vibration intelligence” into a global foundation for safety, resilience, and sustainability.
Use Case
-
Automotive
TestingThe system detects hidden faults in real time, capturing micro-vibration patterns often missed by conventional methods.
Applicable to vehicles from F1 cars to everyday passenger cars, it enables predictive maintenance and early fault detection—preventing breakdowns, reducing repair costs, and enhancing safety. In the long term, it extends vehicle lifespans and lowers environmental impact, setting a new standard for next-generation mobility. -
Motorcycle
ApplicationsThe system monitors engines, suspensions, and tire balance in real time, from racing bikes to everyday commuters.
It instantly detects subtle faults or wear, preventing accidents, extending component life, and reducing maintenance costs—while ensuring stable performance and supporting sustainable mobility. -
Bridge
InspectionWe visualize subtle vibrations in bridge cables and steel structures as real-time line-based heatmaps.
What once required hundreds of sensors can now be done with just a few systems, cutting costs, shortening construction time, and reducing labor. This enables efficient, sustainable monitoring of bridges and infrastructure, creating a new standard for maintenance and extending service lifespans.
Vision

From Lab Research
to Lasting Impact
Bridging the gap between academic discovery and real-world application.
Groundbreaking research often stays confined to academic papers, never reaching society. At SYNRA, we believe innovation has meaning only when it benefits people.
Our founder, Shimasaki, who played soccer from childhood through university, learned to view the entire field and anticipate subtle signs—an experience that shaped our approach of detecting risks from the smallest signals.
We turn laboratory breakthroughs in vibration imaging into scalable, real-world solutions, bridging the gap between academia and industry. Our vision is a world where discoveries spread into society, delivering tangible safety and value.
